Dorothea Lange took pictures in 1933 while there was the great depression and she really captured the child labour and the unemployment of adults that occurred. She took intense pictures that really expressed the situation that occurred during this time. The pictures would be black and white during this time and this really caught the current situation at this time because people were unhappy and it was very hard for them and you can see that through the pictures that Dorothea took.
Lewis Hing
Lewis Hing was very interested in photographing the children in 1908-1912 working while there was the Child Labour in America was happening. He wanted to spread the word and inform people of the child labour that was taken place during this time. A lot of children would work in the mills, factory, seafood workers, feild and farm workers or they would even be miners. Lots of the children wouldn't even wear shoes as shown in the third picture. You can tell how hard working the children were by how dirty they were and in the picture the children really didn't look happy at all.

matihe w brandy
Matihe was born May 18th 1822 and He was best known photographer because of the Civil War pictures he took. He really tried to capture the true action of what occurred during the civil war. He tried to show the weapons and the horrific deaths that occurred during this time. Since these were not coloured pictures because they were not yet created then it really showed how the mood was set there. When there are pictures of men he really capture the negative and unhappy atmosphere of the Civil War. Personally this is my favourite photographer back that is now considered history because I like the way he captured his pictures and brought out most important details. I also love history and his photos make me feel like I'm reliving those moments.
