Our class took this picture of the women and learned to transform her. The picture on the left was the picture we started with and the picture on the right is the picture my partner Sydney and I edited. We decided to find a grey tone to make the picture less yellow then it already was because we thought the yellow brought our her imperfections even more. Then we continued to blur her face to hide the discolouration in her face. I personally found this very difficult because as much you would try to edit out the darkness under her eyes and the redness on her nose and cheeks it still came through so I can still use some work to learn how to do that. After we blurred her face we whitened her eyes a little more and made it so that her veins weren't as visible as it was before and then we coloured in the blue in her eyes so that they pop out more. Then we burned her eyelashes to darken it up and then we burned her pupils so that it made the colour in her eye pop out even more but we tried to keep that natural look as much as we could. Then we darkened up be hair and her eyebrows because we found the blonde hair was interfering with her skin and I like it a lot better because it seems to match her more. The last thing we did was add a light pink tint in her lips and for me and my skills this was the easiest part of the whole assigment.
The man
I began to edit this man by finding a grey tone to take away some of the yellow in this photo. After that I took the mans face and blurred out his imperfections to make his skin tone less red and more neutral. Then I brightened up his eye colour, whited up the white in his eyes and burned in his pupils then following that I also burned in his eyebrows a little bit. The last thing I did was whiten his teeth and put a light tint of pink on his lips.
BARCELONA landscape
The picture on the left is the before and the picture on the right is the after. When I was looking at the non edited picture I felt like it was way too dark to really capture the detail and the true beauty of the landscape. So I begun to lighten the picture up by bringing out the green and adding higher saturation. I then lighten up the sky to make it less cloudy and more blue so it seemed like a clear nice day. I then lightened up the trail that us at the bottom of the mountains so you could see the detail. I then lightened up the rocks that was more closer up in the picture to see the difference of texture in both pictures,
