I took these four person portraits to show how unique the students dressed up in their spirit wear to represent the school . The first picture of the boy Nick holding the sign was taken at a lower angle and the other to pictures were taken up close and I zoomed in and focused the camera for a nice clean and sharp looking picture. The second picture has a lot going on but I like it because the boy with the face paint stands out and it the sender of the picture. The third picture of the girl is nice and clean and I like this picture the most because the pop of blue adds a nice balance and I blurred the background so that she is the only thing to focus on in the picture. Then I took a close shot with auto focus and I tried to catch the position the player was taking while preparing to receive the puck. I like this picture because it focuses on the player but their are still some things in the background but its not distracting. GOOD JOB LASERS ANOTHER WIN!

Our assignment was to take picture of letters that represent the initials of our names. Most people took pictures of billboard signs, restaurant names or even posters but I was getting packed up to go out and look around for letters and then I realized I had this P stuck up in my room for last halloween that I used as my biker gang sign. I took this picture up close but still left some negative space around the letter of the blue wall. Then in light room I took the picture and cropped it so that the picture would only be focused on the letter itself and that there wouldn't be as much negative space around the picture like there was before. Then I boosted the grain to show the texture in the picture and darkened the blacks in the picture because it was hidden and I wanted to show the contrast between the silver and black in the picture to make it more interesting. After I noticed there was a hole in the wall from a thumbtack and it really knocked off the picture in my opinion because it was very noticeable and it was distracting the actual purpose of the actual purpose of the photo. I then lightened the boarder around the picture because there was a shaded awkward dark spot around the left bottom corner so i lightened it up a little so that it wasn't as noticeable as it was before and now I ended up with this picture and I like it very much.
